I?m Marisue Alsobrook, a former foster parent, school teacher, and trainer in the field of foster care and adoption.? Among many issues I came across, I spent some time?helping blended families with?attachment?concerns.??With 20 years of experience in dealing with abused children,?families?who dealt with?domestic violence, and working with kids and teens in crisis, I’ve got some things to say.

I’ve also grown up in a family who possessed top secret clearances with the government as they worked in the space program and later, nuclear energy.? They encouraged in us through their solid examples, great loyalty and pride in country,the rights of the individual and the value of?family.?
